Interview about job hunting by Karin

Experience of interview

I interviewed about job hunting with Mari. That the first experience for me.  However we could ask people who are various generations of the university of Otago, so I could hear many opinions, and also they were really kind and friendly. I had really good experience.

1)         Which one is the most important for a successful interview?

a)         CV        b) outfit          c) arrive on time         d) be prepared for the interview 8

*A interviewee said everything was important at interview, but if they had to choose one answer, they would choose answer D.

2)         What is the worst thing to do in an interview?

a)         slouch      b) look down all the time  7       c) cross your arms  1    d) play with  your hair

*I think all things are important, but if I choose one answer I would choose answer B, because if a candidate is not look at interviewer, the interviewer would think that the person has no motivation.

3)         Which interview question do you think is most interesting?

a)         What animal would you like to be reincarnated as?

b)         Which TV program are you most like?

c)         If you were alone on a desert island, what would you bring? 5

d)         If you were rich, what would you do? 3

*Almost all people were interested to question C.

4)         What quality do you think companies want most?

a)         leader ship  2   b) communication skills  4  c) friendliness     d) endurance 2

*These answer is quite difficult for interviewee, because I think the answer depends on each company.
