THE RISK

            XIAN

     Generally, most children don’t know how dangerous what they are doing and I am unexceptionally. When I was a child, I also did some risk things like climbing up telegraph pole, sitting in a papery box and slide down from the top of a snow mountain, and climbing up a ten meter tree. When I fetch up the risky things I have done I would like to ask myself how I lived to the present. Fortunately, nothing happened and I was happy to do these things until one time I wasn’t so lucky.

     When I was young, my family was not rich, so I lived in a small town. There were a lot of mountains which are covered by forest around my town. My friends really love to have explorations in the mountains but I never did that because I was afraid of the snakes and the dark. One day, one of my friends asked me to climb the mountain with him. To be honest, I didn’t want to go with him, but he thought I was afraid to go. Finally, I decided to go with him and I followed him carefully. I was careful about everything under my feet. Long time later, I didn’t feel it’s dangerous so I felt relax. Then I stood on a small stone when I was talking with my friend and then I slid down a deep chasm and twisted my ankle.

     At first I couldn’t believe what had happened and I tried to climb out, but every time I claimed up half then slipped back to the bottom. Finally, I gave up and told my friend to ask for help. I was waiting for my friend to come back for a long time. The sky was getting dark, so I felt scared and cried. I just didn’t know why my friend was getting help so slowly. At that time, I felt every second was like a year. When I was crying, I heard someone shout my name. I answered and I got help. Later when I was walking on the way home, I found my friend playing with others. I saved because my mom asked about me everywhere and others helped my mom find me.

     After that, the experience was becoming my nightmare, as during the experience I was abandoned by one of my friends.
