These days cell phones, tablets and computers are necessary to our life. Especially, in white collar jobs use computers every time everywhere whatever they do. However many people lose precious time because of gadgets. In fact a number of phone addiction is increasing in the decade. This essay will be discuss advantages and disadvantages of gadgets.

Gadgets have two advantages for our society. Firstly, we can connect with people and places. Many people have Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts regardless of age. We can share a lot of information using Social Net Service not only general information but also more detailed it. For example, when I go to a strange city, I can arrive there without get lost, because my phone can guide me there. And recently many people use dating sites to find a partner. The birth rate in japan is decreasing dramatically these day. I think, dating sites can contribute to prevent an aging society with fewer children. Secondly, companies can advertise their products or events to uncountable people in the world at the same time. If the advertisements attract many customers, they will buy products. As a result it will yield a large profit and the companies could invest a lot of money in something like stocks. Finally, it brings our society large benefits indirectly.

On the other hand, gadgets have negative points. Firstly, it might cause bullying among children. In fact, many children a suicide because of bullying in my country. Almost of a cases involve cell phones. Children can contact each other even though at midnight hiding a parents. So it’s a really hard topic for our society. Furthermore, there is a lot of information about how to lose weight, symptom of disease and so on regardless of truth or falsity. So we need to choose a truth one from them. However, it’s really hard for people who don’t have correct knowledge like teenagers. Sometimes we are confused including adults.

Sum up, gadgets have many merits for our society. Gadgets are really good tool to improve our life of quality. However we should keep in our mind that sometimes they will be deadly weapons, if we use them a wrong way. So I think, companies which provides us applications like Twitter or Facebook should keep making an effort to prevent bat things happen like bulling. Also schools should teach students usage of gadgets especially phones. We need to know a correct usage and have correct knowledge before using them.
