 Gadgets benefit our society. Most people, especially young people think so. But I think many elderly people don't think so. I would like to explain the reasons gadgets benefit our society. 

 

First, there are very convenient. We can send messages at any time. Now people think it's normal, but it was impossible some decades ago. Moreover, gadgets have various functions, book, music, dictionary, and shopping. There are also small and light. 

Second, we can connect with various people .Now, we can use various social networks, like Facebook, and Twitter. By using these networks, we were able to rebuild relationships with old friends who have been estranged. I could connect with one of my friends by Facebook. Moreover, by using Social Network Service, you can make friends with the same hobbies. Even if your hobby is minor, there are a lot of people who have same hobby.

Third, you can get lots of information. I always check the weather forecast, and disaster information by my phone. You can also know about a news. Moreover, you can get information very quickly and whenever you want.

Fourth, if you have a child, gadgets can help you to protect your child. Most smartphones have a GPS function. When something happens, you can know the location information of the child. It is also a means of contact can be secured at the time of a disaster.

 

As you know, globalization is progressing rapidly now. So we should know each our values. I think the method of connecting people is only network. And the only method we can use network is gadgets. Perhaps, gadgets will evolve rapidly. I think gadgets will be more important for us. However, be careful of using too much. It is just gadgets, not our all.
