Technology has created less free time rather than more

Thanks to the development of technology, our life is dramatically changed. However it brings us not only conveniences but also a lot of negative impacts. Technology has created less free time rather than more. I think this statement is true. Firstly, I will talk about a problem which students have been suffering from Social Network Services (SNS)  bullying. Secondly, I will talk about the dangers of depending on virtual reality. Finally I would like to talk about the harmful effects on people’s health which occurs for using an Internet too much.

Recently many students have been suffering from serious SNS bullying. In some cases, SNS bullying can be more serious than physical pain. Most students who are bullied by other students spend a lot of time struggling for about it. Also other students care about SNS too much and check them all the times. It decreases people’s free time..

Another reason for is dependence on virtual reality. In Japan, online gaming is quite common among the all generations. Sword Art Online is one of the popular online game. It is said that some people spend a lot of time playing it is without sparing time for sleep and they cannot stop it. They don’t have enough time to sleep or eat to maintain a minimum standard of living.

Using too much an Internet give people’s health on bad impact. For example, a man who always uses a computer suffered from chronic pain in his shoulder.  Moreover he is suffered from sleep disorder because of blue wavelength light which prevents people from sleep. Those people who have been suffering from these symptoms have to go to hospital. It makes people to have less free time.

The problems I mentioned above are caused by a development of technology. These days, many people cannot handle smartphones, laptops and these kind of devices properly to make their lives richer. I think it is the point for everyone who uses technologies to reconsider how to use these technologies to make our lives better.
