Gadgets such as cell phones, tablets and computers benefit our society
A majority of the people think
mobile devices improve our live-style, but possible is it totally different.
Actually, people depend on electronic gadgets even to do simple tasks, so perhaps
the past was better because life was simpler than today. Evolution is not
always mean better, Seldom do people believe that is not necessary to develop
new artefacts, but I am convinced that it is time to stop. Thus I will write
about some situations where new technologies affects our lives adversely.
Some devices are made in order to
help people to be productive no doubt that it is a good situation for
companies, because gadgets such as a tablet are used to reduce repetitive work
for example marketing companies use tablets to survey people on the street and
when people answer, the interviewer sends information in real time in order for
it to be analysed at the office. That’s
incredible but if something wrong happens about your tablet, you cannot continue
working. Workers are extremely dependent on their gadgets.
On the other hand gadgets cause
some social problems. Sometimes the workday never finish, a boss can find their
employee anywhere they just need to send a cell phone message. This kind of
situation produces a lot of family problems a concrete example is when a parent
cannot help their child to study at home because he received an email from her
boss.
Another big problem is about our
environment, inasmuch as electronic devices end to change so fast, so people
and companies spend a lot of money to have the newest gadgets discarding the
old devices. The production of new cell phones generates a lot of waste, united
with an older ones cause a big pollution issue.
In conclusion electronic devices help people to be
productive, but generate other social and environment problems in this way
technological evolutions do not mean a better society one can assume the past
time was better than these days.
